Halifax (Canada, that is) => London (UK) => Halifax (now with husband in tow) => Toronto.

It's ok for now, but don't think we'll be here permanently. The West Coast beckons, especially in bleak winter months!

I see you're from the Netherlands - have you already moved to Ottawa or are you leaving this June?
I'm currently living in Amsterdam and hope to move to Canada next year (2006). I am Canadian and my boyfriend is Dutch.
Are you moving there on a work permit or spousal sponsorship? We will go via the common law sponsorhip - which is more or less the same..

I was wondering if you could tell us how your time-table has been (when you started getting all your doucments together, to when you sent them all off to Canada, to getting a reply that it was approved, etc...)

Hi there Kippa,

Whereabouts in Somerset are you from? We live in Taunton and have just spent 2 years in Huntsville, Ontario. Back temporarily just to sort out our business (tied to a shop lease for a while, ho hum). However, we ARE going back soon. Perth was an area we looked at too, funnily enough. We liked Merrickville and Smiths Falls too but in the end, settled on theMuskoka region (via Stratford first!) which we LOVE.
