Just found a Canadian shop in England!

Re: Just found a Canadian shop in England!
I know one of the Frys and I'm not a bit surprised.
Souvy, Cheese Whiz has been a Canadian staple like peanut butter forever. I've met people who won't be without it though I only buy it when it's on sale. Cheese Whiz on sticks of celery or a toasted Cheese Whiz and onion sandwich . I think the Germans found a way to put processed cheese into a tube in WW1 and wouldn't be surprised if that's where it came from. I've never had Nutella, cinnamon spread, poutine or lots of other things they say are Canadian but somehow don't consider myself disadvantaged as a result.

I remain convinced that it was created by someone who was pissed/stoned and just went through the contents of the fridge-freezer looking for some stodgy carbs (or maybe anything, if I remember my student days).

Poutine is something you consume if you've been on the beer or are about to.
