LOL I seem to remember a year or so ago, Nutella was being marketed as a healthy breakfast spread, and everyone went apeshit over it and the ads were eventually pulled.
Is it bad that this is making me want Nutella?
For anyone who has a Costco membership, Costco has hilariously huge jars of Nutella. Found this pic on Google searching for "Costco nutella"... yeah. Literally, a bucket. http://awholelotofnothing.net/wp-con...-11-pounds.jpg

There is also a shop on Maiden Lane in London (just down the street from the Maple Leaf Tavern) that carries Canadian products.

I have a friend who works at Sciences Po Uni in Paris advising kids who are going to England on 'higher academic' studies. The most common 'higher academic' question she gets asked is "can we buy Nutella in England"...it really is something of a French comfort blanket....I know ladies who would swop their husbands for a jar of Nutella.....I might do the same for an industrial size jar of Marmite

IF I'm not mistaken, they closed up last year. It was nominally The Australian Store, I believe, but then they had smaller sections for Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa. But I think they closed - I'm going on memory.

I'm surprised there's no Cheese Whiz, do they sell it in the grocery stores there? My niece in Putney says the only thing she really misses are the Korean ramen noodle bowls we have in Canada. Hard to believe they aren't available. Unable to find Pot Noodle in local stores I've sourced a variety of noodle bowls with broad noodles from the local Asian store, N'goy Hoa, and some of them are very good. I like to dice a baby bok choy or 2 and some green onion and add that before the water.

Exterior silicone sealant probably tastes better, smells better and has fewer harmful ingredients.

There's a Nutella Bar in Chicago and one in NYC I think. That's how popular it is. I don't like it at all, the texture is gross, claggy and well, claggy. Like peanut butter, another gross item.
When I was a kid I used to like Fry's chocolate spread until we found a carton with a maggot inside.

Souvy, Cheese Whiz has been a Canadian staple like peanut butter forever. I've met people who won't be without it though I only buy it when it's on sale. Cheese Whiz on sticks of celery or a toasted Cheese Whiz and onion sandwich . I think the Germans found a way to put processed cheese into a tube in WW1 and wouldn't be surprised if that's where it came from. I've never had Nutella, cinnamon spread, poutine or lots of other things they say are Canadian but somehow don't consider myself disadvantaged as a result.

There's another one in Richmond Hill. Good products, scary traffic in the parking lot. (There's a hidden pun in there somewhere).
