Sadly untrue. There is a lot of Rod Stewart inflicted on an unsuspecting public here too! I guess its the nature of "Mix" Radio  :scared:

Have to agree with other comments, it is the trivial little things that bug you, like having to make onion bhajis cos no one this side of the pond can get it right! Having said that, some of the stuff on the list is a pretty sad indictment of british thinking...Roy "Chubby" Brown anyone?

And it has the advantage that you can wash it and reuse it ;) ...a solid appeal to us "tight" types:)

The list was compiled, not as "things missed about Britain" But things typically British that only other Brits would understand
I was compiled as a laugh over on www.british-expats.com
It was never intended to make people homesick, make them stick their visa's in the mail, or whatever, we just did it as a laugh.

jesus christ.

Welcome to the politically correct forum for the suicidally despairing ... if it helps any, I liked the list and assumed it was a joke ... there's stuff on there I'd forgotten about

Sorry, I was channeling my Scotish ancestors there for a bit:)

"Y'all have a great day now:D"

As I was explaining to my canadian friends at dinner the other night, when I say wicked nasty things, I'm not being mean, I'm just in touch with my British half, and when I am witty and nice, that is my canadian training taking over:)
