I am in the process of getting a job in Alberta in my profession with the employer satisfied with my skills and experience. But the HRDC approval and the susequent work permit is going to take atleast 2 months, I was told.

I have applied for canadian PR in September 2001.

My questions are:

1)How do I let CIC know about this fact in time so that it can have a positive bearing on my case (I believe, I should be getting my assessment letter in a month or two)? I ask this because I do not have any offer letter from the employer as yet.

2)Does it matter if the province I am getting the job is different from the province I had stated in my application where i would be residing in Canada?

3)With respect to question#2 above, if I get an offer letter from the employer before HRDC approval, would it help me in getting an additional 5 points according to the new selection grid?
