Itchy feet
Hi all
Having just come back from visiting my brother in New Zealand (he emigrated there 2 years ago) it has reignited our 'itchy feet' in looking at the emigration process. Although NZ is fantastic we have always fancied Canada. We have just started the first steps in applying for a Canadian visa and have been told it can take up to 4 years! Is this true? We are going through an emigration agency, however, if anybody has had good or bad experiences with these sort of companies we would welcome any advice. My husband is a Graphic designer and I am an Operations Manager in the Recruitment industry. Our dream move would be to somewhere in the Toronto area, preferably semi rural with a good school (we have 2 children aged 6 and 4). I know its a lot to ask but if anyone knows of nice areas with 4 bed houses + land at about $500,000 - $600,000. Sorry for asking so many questions but we are at the 'want to be in Canada ASAP' stage. Thanks for any information. |

Thanks for any information. a) start reading the wiki b) start reading the cic website c) also read the stickies d) hope your agent is a CSIC approved agent or you could be shooting yourself in the foot, have your application refused and then have to start over and face bigger problems getting in. |
