Re: "iPlayer loophole" to close
My software engineer husband rents some UK server space for the sole purpose of providing me with my own VPN, only costs us $5 per month. Its a game of cat and mouse - the BBC will catch on that its a VPN and block service, so my husband sets it up again (a 10 minute job) to get a new IP address and it will work for another month or so before they catch on again.
On the whole it works well so we're probably going to get one set up in the US as well.

I use Hotspot Expat Shield. I streamed Question Time last night and it didn't flicker or buffer/pause at all. It was seamless.
