I am reading a history of Canada's first Nations by Patricia Dickason.

Anyone else read this book? Or indeed wants to? Because YOU SHOULD...

I misread the thread title and knowing you thought we were going to have a discussion about Inuit versions of these.

I've been feeding chickens and trying to work out how the roof parts jigsaw is going to work.

I think the Inuit are the Eskimos relaunched for a new market.

no..steve i havent' had the pleasure of reading her books yet!..i am wanting to read ...the Native Imprint written by her.

i have for some time been reading a series of books....by..W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear..they are anthropoligists that write about the *Prehistoric native north americans. the first of their kind. i am loving them! they are written in novel form...tho have history weaved through them.

Well it got a thumbs up from my eighteen year old who has just completed his high school first nations studies . Now it kinda makes me want to get a copy your not on commision here are you Steve
