I got my file transfered from Canadian Consulate, Buffalo to Canadian Consulate in New York, NY around 15th of Jan. Does anyone know the approximate time frame taken by NY consulate to schedule the interview?

As for me I guess I am luckier than you. I applied in Apr and will be going to get my
interview this Feb. It seems that the Buffalo office have slow down quite a bit due
to a large number of applicants caused by the US Economic downturn.

I applied Nov 16th 2001 got my AOR JAn 8th 2002 it mentions I will be contacted after 30 weeks...

I applied in 6th Apr 2001 got my AOR in 30th Apr 2001 around 3 weeks and my interview
letter in 22 Jan 2002. My interview in in 27th Feb 2002. By the way which CHC did you
filed your application, and where are you from?

My time line

Applied in Mar 2001

Got file number May 2001

Got Medicals with Interview Waiver Sep 2001 (Submitted all required docs, ROLF, etc)

Appeared for Medical Exam Oct 2001

Again got letter in Nov 2001 from consulate stating that I need to attend interview and my file will be getting transfered to New York, NY from Buffalo.

File got transfered to New York, NY around 15th of Jan 2002.

Presently waiting for interview.
