Insurance

Has anyone got any good recomendations for car and household insurers?

And while I'm on the subject do they take proof of no claims from European companies?

Depends where you are moving to in Canada.
Without knowing this I would suggest the C.A.A. Canadian Automobile Association for both.
As to the second question. I do not know.

Re: Insurance

Hi,
we lived in Alberta for 2 years (99-01) we took a letter from our insurance company ( proof of no claims)
We used a company that was very cheap ( our car was a 95 windstar) who were under insured by Lloyds of London so excepted the proof of no claims

hope this helps

Thanks Karen and Ted. I'll put getting a letter (translated) on my list of things to do!
