As the picture didn't work I shall just imagine the eye of the storm right over the container ship bringing all our worldly goods to Halifax :scared:
Anyway the storm was a total non event here on the Minas Basin. Just a bit of rain to remind us of the UK.

Well as it updated often you need to go to main page
Select either large, medium or small depending on your bandwidth for this statellite
GOES-East/West
North American Composite *
IR & topography: large medium small
But the real question is will Rita stop of in New Orleans?
Rita's forecast
Looks like a really straight path for a storm, looking at last years tracks here it appears as if they all curve north west and the last one to follow a similar path past the west indies in the last 10 years was Georges 1997.
Well lets hope it does copy Kat.
