Information to send money electronically
 

If you're transferring money electronically to Canada from the UK, what information do you require. Obviously you need the bank account number somthing like xxxxx-xxxxxxxx, but should there also be a sort/routing code or swift code?

Your bank in Canada will provide all the info you need and yes you will probably need the swift code aswell as the sort code. This is definately the case if using a third party currency broker but for direct bank to bank you may not need the swift......not sure.
