Re: information

What category you want to apply under? Do you legally reside (after being
lawfully admitted for at least 12 months) or are a national of Germany,
Netherlands or Switzerland? If not then you cannot apply through Berlin.
Processing time in Berlin with interview required is about 18 to 24 months,
without interview about 6 to 8 or so months less.

Re: information

Skilled worker category. We are a family and both students in Germany.
Residence permits are granted not more than one year each time you renew.
Is there any chance of applying through Berlin? If not what is the
processing time in Damascus?

Thanks,
S.

Re: information

So, you are lawfully admitted for at least 12 months to Germany - in such case
you may apply through Berlin.

Re: information

Processing time in London may take 18 to 24+ months if interview is required -
this is based on timelines of most recently completed cases. But if interview
is waived processing time takes anywhere between 5 and 14 months, depending
from the time needed for medicals and background/security check in all
countries you resided for 6 or more months.

Applicants with well prepared application package, strongly presented and
documented credentials, skills and abilities often receive interview waiver if
processing officer determines that selection decision can be made solely on the
basis of submitted with the application information and documents without a
need to clarify, verify or assess anything during interview. So, perfectly
prepared entire application package is the key to interview waiver.
