Info please for kids training / transfer
 

Hi there,

Does anyone know if my eldest son (aged 21 now) who will be accompanying us when we eventually get PR, will be able to transfer his apprenticeship from the UK to Canada? He is an apprentice commercial gas / building services heating engineer, he has presently completed 2 years with his employer (a company specialising in renewable energy technology) and is on track with his college work also. I have tried to look into this but keep coming to a dead end..

The only other option would be for us to land and then he come back and complete his final 2 years, such a shame though as the work type is on the 38list.

Thanks in advance guys and well done to all those who have received medical notification. We put our docs in on the 30th Jan so fingers crossed for a speedy response.
