Independant Immmigration _ Processing time
Hi there
I am in the United Kingdom and would like to apply for Immigration to Canada
I am an IT professional, with a BSc in Computer Science, 2 years work experience and 2 uncles and 4 aunts in Ontario (all Candian Citizens)
What would be the average processing time for my application.
Many thanks
Chris Asaipillai

Re: Independant Immmigration _ Processing time
Processing time may take anywhere from 6 to 24+ months for UK residents when applying
through CHC London.
You didn't provide enough information to see if you qualify in the first place, but
based on what you wrote your chances may not be so good without having a spouse with
good education and/or without pre-arranged job in Canada.
Please contact me directly for free evaluation of your chances and options.

Re: Independant Immmigration _ Processing time
Average processing time in UK if interview is required is about 16 months. If no
interview is required then of course this can be cut in half.
With implementation of the new Act scheduled for 28 JUN 2002 the aim is to make a
more objective test. Proper and full case preparation and presentation could increase
your chances of getting the waiver.
For full assessment feel free to contact us.
Anyone who applies before implementation of the new Act is taking some risk.
