Sounds like a pitch for consultants, moving companies and the like to me.

Hi,

If it's Canada Live in my opinion you are wasting time and money!
It should be called " Canada Live with only 2 exhibitors!"
One of those is Brazolot - say no more!

Only one other exhibitor was the removal people who were helpful.

Seminars were all about Australia and New Zealand.
Apart from Brazolot who was too cheesy for my liking!

I was warned about these Expo's being a waste of time and money but unfortunately flights and hotel already booked.
Though did have nice weekend in London! Only spent max 2 hrs at Expo!

You will get more info on these forums then attending the Expo's.

Good luck!

I lasted about 30mns at the expo that was here last year, I knew it was a waste of money yet I still went just in case.

Google is free, and you can use it at home(it done me more good than the expo!)

The only good thing is the buzz you get from the other visitors... You can probably get that from here sitting in your armchair!

We visited the Emigrate fairs a couple of times and found them useful for learning more about the property market and for convincing us that we didn't need a consultant to help us apply but not much more.

mls.ca and kijiji can teach you about the property market here, as well as anything you can get from the wiki and threads on here. I very much think that the Expos are more about emptying your pocket than actually helping you, as others have said, you'll learn more from google and on here.
