I'm a wreck!
We have spent the day with family saying goodbye. I feel like an emotional wreck this evening.
Saying goodbye is so hard.

I remember that so well, the last weekend was competely draining emotionally and something that I never want to do again I completely underestimated how upset I would be, I havent cried so much as I did in the last month before we left
Hang in there, it will pass and you will soon be enjoying your new lifeand realising your dream

Awww...hugs to you - we're just at the start of the goodbye process and what hurts me most is my kids getting upset - I'm thinking of you!

Hugs to you.
My experience was strange, as when we first landed, I was coming back on my own after a week, so it wasn't really "goodbye" at that time. And then when I did fly back here to rejoin my family, the sadness of leaving family in the UK was more than overbalanced by the joy that I'd soon be with my hubby and boys again!
I miss my family intensely on occasion, and often without warning, but the actual goodbyes were not too tough (for me) at the time!

Just try and remember it's a fairly short flight and the first year or two you'll have a steady stream of visitors (or "freeloaders")
Hope you feel better
