If visa granted what is next step

Hi all,
jumping the gun a bit here but I am trying to find out what the process is. If we are lucky enough to be approved and we get the visa in our passports is there a time frame that we have to enter Canada by.

The PR card - does it get issued during this validation trip.

Apologies to those of you that have seen this type of post a zillion times

My understanding is u have a year from Visa to go.

Then you have to spend at least 2 years out of every five years in Canada or else visa is revoked.

i think.

You have a year from the date of your Medicals. The PR card is now sorted when you land, and will be posted to you.

It is definately a year after your first medical, (even if you have to have specialist follow ups), after receiving a letter from the CHC saying you have your visas and they are ready to be issues, you then send them your passport and they will put a visa stamp in and you will receive a visa form, you then hand it in to the immigration people at any canadian airport or port of entry.
You give them the address where you will be living and they will post it there for you.

I hope this helps.
