Yes, that's it. Canada is the world's largest producer of hydro-electric power. The other day, I saw a thermal-electric plant (coal fired) in Ontario being referred to as a "hydro plant". Obviously it was not really a hydro plant. In Ontario, "hydro" is synonymous with "electricity". If you get the chance check out the hydro facilities at Niagara Falls, Ontario.
