How many British do you meet a week?
I must meet at least 20 to 30 different British people a week. I think the town I have at least has 15 percent British population.

It would be interesting to know where you're living, as I'm sure it varies from one region or town or neighbourhood to the next.

I rarely meet any outside of work. At work, a couple of hundred a week (tourists).

Maybe 1-2 a month, maybe ? why is it important for the OP to meet people from the UK ?

I would say 5-6 a week. I'm in Kamloops and had gathered from this forum that there were quite a lot of us in this city beforehand though!

Basically none. They do exist but I am led to understand that they tend to live in the Aylmer sector if the city, which is miles from me (this city stretches for over 50km). I met one Brit but that was ten years ago.
It's a different story if I cross the river.
I talk to Brits most weekdays, though. The phone on my desk is an extension to the main switchboard in Wimbledon.

Technically two every day - my kids, although they don't yet have British passports so I suppose that doesn't count.
Generally it's not unusual to hear a British accent around this place. Perhaps it's no longer being so eager to hear something familiar having lived here for ten years but meeting a British person or hearing a British accent is no longer something to be remarked on any more than meeting any other CFA.
I do speak to British people every day at work. And of course when one travels to head office in London one can't avoid the buggers.

I can have a QC accent when I speak French but it annoys my wife, so I try to stick to my proper French accent.

Lots, quite often I keep my mouth shut and carry on, it's only if I have to interact will I take part in the how long have you been here game, instigated by the other Brit. For some reason they are disappointed when they find out we've been here longer. It's one very good reason to get of retail and go and work in a box somewhere
Bizarrely, whilst in NOTL the guy at the cash desk in the Brit/Scot shop mistook us for another couple that were shopping at the same time, also from Red Deer, also British, also just visiting. Never seen them around here though.
