Hi - just wondered how long it should take to process my husbands medical papers. He is in Australia and the forms have to be sent to Singapore. He went for his medical today (Dec 10th) and I am thinking of booking a ticket for February 1st to go over to Australia - would stay there 2 1/2 weeks and was hoping we could fly back together. There is about 10 weeks between then and now - what are the odds his medical would be approved and he will be able to come back with me??
Thanks for your assistance!

Medical processing would generally take approximately 2-3 months, including time
required to mail send the materials to Overseas Health Processing and then to the
visa office. There may be an additional delay of approximately 2 months until
issuance of landing documents, which is due to processing by the visa office.

I know the times you list here are common for independant applications - but are they they same for a sponsored spouse? Syndey consulate has told us to expect 6 to 8 weeks from the date medical results are received by the processing center. I want to confirm all this before I purchase a ticket.
