The Egyptians were the pioneers of civil engineering back in the early 1500's (BC) but hey ho times change. So your point is?

Err, no, my point was that Waterloo has been a centre of excellence for a long time, and remains so. Don't think the Egyptians are world-famous for their engineering still (torturing people on behalf of the CIA, yes, sea-spanning bridges and tunnels, no).

You're on the web sweety. You can be anywhere you want and still be 'wired'.

Exactly. Times change. One minute you're constructing time-defying civil building projects that will resound throughout eternity, the next you're diversifying into contract work on behalf of an imperialistic foreign nation's death squads.

Waterloo may have been rightly famous once for producing top-notch engineers but maybe now they too contract out their excellence into international espionage ?

And here was me thinking that's Manchester, NH.

Seriously, I wonder how many people have flown to Manchester, NH, by mistake? Expedia always used to (still does?) default to that Manchester when searching.

That was my point! I was in the car at the time, coffee in one hand, lap top on the passenger seat, whist applying make-up and talking on me cell phone

Edit: However; I do have a bluetooth keyboard, media pad and mouse on my Desktop at home, too!
