House Sold :)
It's been a busy and stressful couple of months for us but I think we're nearly there. The house has now sold, thank goodness and we will be making our return trip to NS to activate visas a one-way one 
I honestly thought that house would never sell in this climate, but it has and I am thankful for it and I am finally letting myself believe this is happening!

What a weight off your mind and you can now really enjoy Christmas . I wish you all the best in your new life. Dreams can come true.
Things at long last are moving for me too and I have my PR forms to complete and send off within 90 days so I am in a spin as I thought it would be next Christmas before I heard anything. I am trying not to think too far ahead re selling my house just hope the market picks up in the next couple of years.

Thanks everyone! Yes, it does feel like a relief. We were seriously starting to panic a little, because only in the past few months, another 3 or 4 houses had come on the market fairly close to us
Caleo - It's stressful, isn't it? All you can do is hope that the person meant to have your home turns up quickly! Don't lose hope and don't be afraid to change estate agents if necessary.
Now it's getting stuck into the lovely task of contacting shipping companies but I think we'll be enjoying the Christmas break first......

That is great news & a weight off your mind before Xmas.
I think there are still people buying but being smart on the prices, most people looking round my house are in rental & looking for the right place to tempt them to buy. Nice to hear someone has had good news.
I'm relocating to the other end of England before Xmas so have to get a move on somehow!
