House sold!
Did I mention we were putting the house up for sale?? Well we did, on Tuesday and we had an offer on Wednesday, settled yesterday for only 1.75% less than the asking price.
We are well pleased. We sign the papers this evening for the offer on the house we want to buy. I cleaned this house to within an inch of its life. Packed loads of stuff away, polished the floor till it dazzled, washed the siding, pressure washed the deck, vacuumed and washed the concrete floor in the basement. Bought new plants for outside, told the cats to look cute. The realtor we used was great, they use a professional photographer, send a home stager round to comment, the house looked so good in the photos. We had 6 viewings and one open house. Phew. So, now we hope we can get the house we like. Please cross all appendages. |

Are you lot sure you have every appendage and extremity crossed?
for a 179900 house we offered 170, they came back with 179! we have countered with 173. Cant afford much higher so are looking at more houses tomorrow just in case agggghhh, :blink: |
