Thumbs up holiday lets in toronto

Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend any holiday let or any companies who specialise in these, we are looking for either something in Toronto or Oakville.
Would prefer Oakville as thats where we are hoping to set up home but I would be interested on hearing about anywhere in that general area.
We are booked to go 26th August for 2 weeks for a recce.

cheers

john

I don't know of any holiday let companies in TO or Oakville - I can't see that there's much of a market, to be honest, as there's a net outflow of people who go on holiday elsewhere.

If I were you I'd try googling for a home exchange scheme. I haven't any direct experience of these, but I know a few people who do them pretty regularly and have nothing but good reports of the system.

Otherwise, you could look for a suites hotel - bit more expensive, but the key thing is that you usually get a kitchen, which means you can eat what you want when you want, without having to eat out for every meal.

You just don't get holiday lets in and around Toronto. There are the short term furnished suites as previous writer mentioned but they are extremely expensive. I looked recently doing a search online and they were about $2000 a week!

I'm sure if you fire off a few emails to some b'n'bs you'll find something.
