I was wondering what is the average holiday you get when employed in Vancouver .

In the uk it is 4 weeks .

4 weeks is the legal minimum in the UK, but 5 weeks is the norm I'd say.

Never seen a analysis of 'average vacation', if there is such a thing.

Legal minimum, 4% of pay accrues as vacation time each year or the first 5 years, which is 2 weeks, thereafter it is 6%, three weeks. You are not entitled to any vacation during the first year.

One may be able to negotiate more, depending on the job and employer. Some large businesses will give more, many small businesses will not.
