hi i am a welder from derby uk,i have been offered work in hinton alberta. they said i will get paid $20ph to start then move up to $35ph. i have looked at hinton on tinternet it looks a nice place and me,my wife and kids are keen but we dont know much without going there and looking ourselves!!! is the wages what i have been offered good and substain us? dont really understand the tax in alberta,in fact any info at all about the place,job anything would be very much apprecitated thanks

Nice to see you have done some research. Perhaps let people know what you know and that would narrow down what information you require.

hi thats all i know at the mo, could really find out about if say we need to live on as homes are around $1300pm to rent how much we would net from 81000 ayear(married with 2kids under 16) how much bills are going to be,can we afford it:huh:http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...milies/huh.gif

hi thats all i know at the mo,just trying to work out if we can substain living in hinton.worked wages out at about $80000pa before tax dont know how much net is (married 2kids under 16) like to find out this as tax system in alberta is hard to understand!!!! rent looks about $1300pm then dont know how much bills,food etc will be any help with anything would be great
not got as far as what crime,schools and bears are like there!! need to work all this out as soon as,as we want to go if alls as good and what we have read so far
