Yep we are in a small subdivision too most have 3 acres with the odd one a bit bigger, so at least we do have neighbours if we should ever need to cry for help!!! Not quite so isolated either.

This thread makes for very interesting reading, we are only at the stage of collecting information to put our application in so we have years to wait yet (unless hubby gets a job that is). We've already done tonnes of research on different areas, Alberta seems to be the place for us, Edmonton in particular. You all seem to be happy living there so it just confirms our thinking really!
