i just remembered there was some talk on this forum of a lady in canada (cant recall whether she's in ontario or BC) who runs a newcomers help agency, basically helping and advising new immigrants about how to go about gettings jobs, setting up banking, car insurance and networking in general.
can anyone here remember who that lady is at all pls?

hi iaink! long time no speakey!
tnks for the tip, but its not this couple.
the lady i seem to remember was an asian lady i think and was well known for having links with many people in her area...
its like looking a for a needle in a haystack really as i dont ahve any more details!
i'll keep looking at my old emails as well just in case.....
