Hey

Hi, welcome to my intro thread

Quick timeline:

Application received by CHC ~ 18/10/2005
AOR sent by CHC ~ 25/10/2005
Request for updated information ~ 15/02/2008
Preliminary approval ~ 21/05/08
Medicals ~ 06/06/08

It's all suddenly become very real after such a long wait. We (myself, Mr Stoney and Stoney Junior) will be heading for Calgary as we have friends out there and fell in love with the place when we visited in 2005.

In the meantime I'm trying to get my head round everything that needs to be done before we can go !!.

Hello Stonedog...

My time line is around the same stage as you... had my medicals last week.

As you say after such a long wait - its suddenly very real... ive waited that long that my life has gone thro a number of changes whilst ive been waitng! Im heading just north of Toronto, but like you have a friend over in Canada - to help show me the ropes.

I wake up some mornings thinking of something new Ive got to do - and sometimes a thought of - what the hell am I doing! as you say scary!

I think once I start getting things done - I will feel a little more calmer about the whole thing, Im sure im not alone!

Paul

Hi Jeff

Yeah we applied via skilled worker, the wait seemed to take forever but now we're here, it's like it's flown by !!!.

Just hope I can get everything done and the house sold when the time comes.
