Hello
Hi All
Just found this site and it looks interesting to me. We are in the processing of moving to Edmonton on a work permit. The house is on the market, we are waiting on Police Clearance before we apply for a work permit. This is all new to me, so treat me gently! Thanks to anyone who replies.:D Cooperwoman |

Thanks to anyone who replies.:D Cooperwoman I myself have only just joined, and we too are hoping for a WP (or perhaps a Transfer) to BC or Calgary. I have found great info here in the Wikki, and also using the search forum facility. Some really knowledgable folks with lots of experience, and a whole lotta nutters too!!! It's great fun and informative, and mostly addictive - run while you can!!! lol :D Best of luck Copperwoman Rob. |

Hi
Good luck with the big move to Edmonton. We came here to Sherwood Park 2 years ago. Loving those mountains and having some fab experiences. Any questions you have, someone on here will be sure to have an answer. |

Re: Hello
Hi there,
we arrived in ontario in December on a work permit, and loving it - especially since the winter has gone and the sun has arrived!!!! We had applied for our permanent residence before we arrived here through the skilled worker class and we have been very fortunate and have just had our passport requests, so if you think you might like to stay my advice would be apply from England before you leave, the time for processing on average is 42 months!!!!! With a job offer it should be quicker as in our case Best of luck - Enjoy!!!! :) |
