Looks like the programming worked - woke up at some point during the night and it was cool, but not freezing. :thumbsup:

Yep, each room is it's own zone. We have a nice cool bedroom, warmer bathroom and lounge, cooler kitchen. Spare rooms are set at 16 degrees, and if we want to use them it only takes a few hours for them to rise 3 of 4 degrees. Cooling does take a little longer though - once the concrete slab's up to temperature it retains heat very efficiently.
The zoning works well too. In the UK we had one thermostat positioned in the hall. Kept the whole house like toast (same with the cost of gas :D) |

I just fitted a new Honeywell Thermostat and its pre programmed to use " Energy Star settings for maximum cost savings " Which are ...
70 when at home and 62 at night or out through the day ... HTH ... |
