Re: Healthcare/Physician jobs in Brockville
Just pissed away a load of money to the MCC and RCPSC for looking at jobs in BC which is probably a no-go due to family circumstances.
Also, though this is beyond the scope of the forum, the idea that a fully trained consultant anaesthetist (or other specialist) in the UK has to retake everything at great cost, including the RCPSC anaesthetic exams which seem to be lifted straight off the RCoA system, for a system which only give their specialists half the number of years of postgraduate training, is quite simply risible.

Moved to Kelowna, BC last month as physician. Will be doing exams while working. And yes, the exams are a pain/nuisance. But I have been working here for a month and love it. Anyone looking for tips of navigating the system/registration feel free to ask. It was tough moving in the middle of a pandemic!

Did you go via Healthmatch BC? How was MCCQE? I have already paid for mine so may do it in the Easter. Sadly Manchester is the only place to do it (150 miles away), and I don't want to remote proctor as I have 4 kids in the house!
