Maybe a daft question, but as you've costed this in pounds, did you buy the insurance here in the UK?

We're going to need some cover, and I thought this was purchased in Canada upon arrival, or you could perhaps purchase via phone or the internet maybe so it would coincide with your arrival?

We are buying in UK yogi. this cover will also cover travel insc and incl luggage, if you tick the box.

Best to buy in advance. Virtually all the Canadian based policies for the three month wait period need to be bought within a day or two of arrival to be valid, and its easy to overlook doing that among all the other stuff you will be doing on arrival.
