Default Hay fever - Calgary

I normally only suffer from the tree pollen badly and the rest of the summer I'm bearable. Going to Calgary 29 June for two weeks, should I bring my Piriteze? This year has been bloody awful hay fever wise and I'm still suffering badly now, although on the bright side I haven't had to have an inhaler as I have a few times in the past 30+ years.
Please tell me things will be easier over there.

I had terrible hay fever in all areas of the UK in which I lived. I have not had an issue with it at all over here.

Perhaps your triggers are different than those born and raised here.

I worked with a fellow who suffers terribly.

I am sure that is the case.

In any event, I am not complaining

And I'm another that used to get hay fever a fair bit in the UK but not here. I too suspect Steve is right re different triggers.

You should bring your medication with you, just in case.

I also had hay fever in the UK from the age of 11 onwards - but have not had it at all in the three years we have lived here.

Son #1 (now aged 12) started with hay fever the summer before we moved here and he does still get it here.

I never got 'allergies' in the UK but I do get a bit sniffly from the snow mould as it melts away in the spring, not enough to take medication because by the time I think 'Oh it's allergies' it's all gone.

I have it the other way around unfortunately.

I suffer very mild symptoms in the UK for only a couple weeks of the year. In Ontario, I have to take allergy medication every day for several months and make sure I have my inhaler around.

you just cant tell till you get here
