Having LMO Problems

This may be moved to the Immigration Forum and then they will think I am not wise in it for posting two threads about the same subject. But I wanted to tell you guys over here too.

Anyway we found out last night that HRSDC are causing problems with our LMO and say that the employer hasnt done enough to employ a Canadian and they wont pass LMO at the minute:curse:

Why this is happening to us I dont know:confused: So, now the employer has to make new ads and advertise them to see what happens. Meanwhile he wants us to apply for PNP straight away, so we will be filling the forms in tonight:ohmy:

I have sold my house and my lovely 6ft memory foam bed, which has been replaced by a 4ft 6" old bed of my brothers which is extremely uncomfortable! - we have had our SKY TV switched off this week:eek: and dont know now whether we are coming or going:curse:

Re: Having LMO Problems

That seems rather ridiculous when everyone round here is hiring and failing. My son' place of work needs people. He gets a $500 bonus if he refers someone they hire.

Probably what will happen is they will advertise the job - nobody suitable will apply and it will just be like going round in circles!!

Typing stupid government for you but there is nothing you can do about it. They hire stupid people - I think that is a requirement for working for the government!!!

Oh Alison, this is such disheartening news.
You really thought you were getting close, as did we all.

It's a hicup, albeit a big one, but it's not nearly the end.
Hang in there - think about it for a few days and look at it again with fresh eyes and it will not seem quite so bad. Where there is a will there is a way.

It is worth it, so it's worth fighting for even if it seems like you keep coming up against a wall.

Two months ago we didn't think we would be making it happen, and now we are here - it can and does happen.

Karma to you, and good luck with getting the employer to do what's needed.
Remember your friends are here for you.;)

Rob.

you know I am thinking about you - I'm not good at the moment as Archie is stuck in Calgary cos they could not get him on the connecting Jazz flight. Can't collect him until 1:30pm sask time now.

Keep positive, you will get here, you have a home in Indian Head calling to you.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
