I flew MAN - YVR on one of the newly refurbed Air Transat A330s on Saturday. All new interior, now has seat-back entertainment system, mood lighting, improved seat width and the pitch is 32", better than BA. Luggage allowance is now 23kg, just as good as economy with the scheduled carriers. The old interiors weren't great, they are gradually refurbing all the fleet. The other massive bonus for me is the fact that in summer they fly MAN - YVR direct, saving several hours of travel time compared to having to connect in London, Amsterdam or Frankfurt.

Mainly during summer months but not for all fligths. As Adele says if you get a new plane you are fine.

Just be v careful on luggage weight limits. Take optioin plus if yiou will be over.

Thank you. We booked last night - saved ourselves £100 with code, so that's more Canadian wine for me ;)
AirTransat just added two new flights for Christmas from Van couver to London - on 20th and 22nd December.

Thank you for the tip about the luggage. We're going to buy an extra bag allowance.
