Hi all - I've added a meeetup for Wednesday, August 31st at the Cat and Fiddle in Hamilton just to try somewhere a little different; hope you can all make it!! Quiet meetup yesterday, but Sarah, Charlotte and I had a nice lunch and a couple of drinks and a natter anyway. :)

I will be there around 5 - there is no point in my going home as I would have to jump on the next bus back :D

Yes thanks, the move went ok - still 2/3rd's of a pod to unload and unpack though!

We cant make it, we are off to Florida early Thursday morning, so I will be packing.

We will try to get there for 5:30 (with in-laws in tow!). At least they will bump up the numbers!

It was lovely to meet your in-laws and to see you all again, and equally lovely to meet JnJ (thanks for the lift home!) - I hope that you will come to the next meet-up.

Talking of which - when would people like to meet up next?

A Sunday lunchtime and/or a Wednesday after work?

I am trying to arrange the next meet up for the Hamilton/Burlington BE's.

I have put in 2 dates into the meet-up calendar; Sunday 11th September at 1pm and/or Wednesday 14th September at 5.30pm.

Again, the venue chosen by the majority is "The Poacher" in Burlington.

Could folk please let me know which is a better date for them - or if neither is, when would be?

An idea of who is hoping to be there would be great!

Come join us one and all... even if you live in Mississauga or Guelph, everyone is welcome :)

I'm a soon-to-be BE moving to Hamilton on Monday and would really like to meet up with some fellow expats if that's all ok with you guys! I may not be around for your next one on Wed, but I'd love to join you if you're thinking of a meet-up in the future!

I'm certainly more than happy for :beer: and/or :drinkwine: (I think after all this emigrating malarkey I deserve a couple!)
