Halifax bound - RENTALS
We are waiting for our passports to be returned from the CHC. Just been to Nova Scotia, loved it. Look at housing around Sackville, Fall River etc. Nearly bought property in Lower Sackville but pulled out as a lot of work was needed post the surveyors report.
We should be landing middle to late October 07. It will be a mad push for work and buying a property. Don't like the idea or the expense of living in a hotel for a month + or renting for a six month term. I know in Calgary a few companies including CANLINK, rent out properties on a weekly or monthly basis. Does any one know of such places around the Sackville/Dartmouth area? Thanks Flippy PS We have a small dog but might be able to prolong its arrival!:o |

There's a company called Premier Executive Suites that specialise in furnished short-term rentals |

What I have noticed is that there only really seems to be two types of rental:

Re: Halifax bound - RENTALS
If you're heading out over the winter months chances are you will qualify for winter rates for vacation properties, which are open year round and are furnished and you sometimes get a better rate than in a domestic rental property.
Go to www.novascotia.ca and follow the links through to their accommodation listings or reservations team. Tell them your budget and they may be able to point you in the direction of something suitable. It may be slightly out of the Halifax Metro but you'll feel like you're on holiday for a while! They've helped us anyway. Good luck |
