Guardianship required??
 
My son aged 18 is in NS on a study visa for a year. He is currently an International student, but in Feb is staying on with the family under a private arrangment. Do they have to become his legal guardians and if so how do they go about it?

I would have thought that he could only stay for 6 months tourist visa and wouldnt be able to go to school or work:confused:

Yes, because he has a study visa for a year. He will also be PR by then
