Re: Bala pls reply

No they did not ask for the photographs. They only asked for passport. I think they did not ask me to send the photographs since I am already in Canada on EA.

Re: Got It

Hello Bala,

Congratulations! you made it.

Now with your experience, could you advise me on couple of things, can
i send my application without the police verification now and later
when i get the police certificate mail it to the consulate? Also
about the the language proficiency, did you take any professional test
or was there any other way to prove. I have double masters in US,is
that substantial? Your any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks, RK

Re: Bala pls reply

no being on ea has nothing to do with it... they ask for photo's if the ones submitted dont meet the requirement, and they can still ask for your photo's.. one person i know was asked for his passport, and 2 weeks after sending in the passport, got a fax from the visa office asking for the photo's...

they are enforcing the photo requirement very strictly... its a matter of when the officer finds out that the ones they have on file are not good enough... if the ones you sent originally were as per the specifications (a lot of people sent in photo's that were too big) you wont be asked for them again...

What is the processing time in UK for skilled workers category

Re: Got It

would be very difficult to get all the dimensions right in that... the photo requirements are very specific as to the kind of photo's they need, the space covered in the photo from chin to crown for example...

also, any photo's that dont meet the exact size that they need wont satisfy the requirement...
