We will be travelling to Canada soon to register our Confirmation of Permanent Residence. How detailed does the goods to follow list need to be? Does it depend on the value of the goods, and what details of household stuff is required? Thanks.

Keep it simple

10 x boxes clothing value X amount
3 x boxes kitchen utensils value X amount
4 x boxes bedding value X amount

Jewelry I would have it appraised with pictures if possible or any other high value items
