Hi,

If I cross the border, get my PR, do I submit a GTF list to the Officer (yes)

OK Does this mean that after that, I can, over the next years, bring in my belongings? Do I have to always keep a copy of my GTF list with me at the airports then for the CBSA officers?

Only on trips where you are importing stuff and you don't want to pay duty. If you're just on a standard trip in/out with only personal luggage then don't worry about it, but if you're actually importing things then yes, have that doc on you, as it's your proof you don't owe duty on it.
