Goodbye

If this is the place to say hello it must be the place to say goodbye. I spent three weeks in august in Canada, Quebec and Ontario, and was disappointed . Sorry, I am saying goodbye, will try elsewhere....... I have enjoyed reading threads on the forum and will continue doing so but somewhere else, look out for me. Thank you.

I'm sorry that Canada didn't appeal to you, Busby.

There are other parts of Canada of course. Regardless, best wishes busby - hope you find somewhere that feels like it could be your next home. :)

Kind regards,

Eamonn & Janet.

Re: Goodbye

Please don't get me wrong, I did like Canada, but was disappointed. I was expecting more. I don't want to emigrate to a country that doesn't have more to offer than this one. I was hoping Quebec would have all qualities of France and England together. I am sure I will go back to visit family I met in Owen Sound and others I didn't meet in Toronto and Kingston. What I hated was the constant drone of electricity in Montreal, perhaps this is specific to this city. What about the pavements covered in rubbish! Language was certainly a mixture of the two countries, a French speaking person would use English swearwords...

Sorry to hear that you didn't like it but I think you're being very sensible - if you didn't love it then there's no point in going.

I wish you the best of luck wherever you end up. :)
