Good maps on line ?

Ive been looking for some time now for good maps and knowledge about the areas in NS. Hoping to be going in april but want to know were to start. Need some interviews lined up and a good estate agent to get a few viewing in the rite areas.

Lots of great info, maps and routing on the Destination Nova Scotia website. Don't forget to order their Doers and Dreamers Guide - it's a jammed packed 384 page brochure.

Don't know where exactly you want to settle but here are some websites for Pictou County

Just to let you know, April is still winter here so you'll need appropriate clothing (winter jacket and light layers) :)

PS Welcome to BE!

I can recommend our realtor [email protected]

She is based in the Halifax/Dartmouth area but was prepared to take us pretty much anywhere.

What area are you interested in moving to?

Sorry unable to assist with knowledge of Nova Scotia.

But for maps try Google.

Here's a link to Google maps centred on Halifax.

Here are some basic maps:

You may also wish to try Google Earth as people often download photographs so you may get some idea of what an area is like. You can download Google Earth for free:
