Golden Ears Bridge
Holy moley, $4 to cross the new bridge in Pitt Meadows, Vancouver?
That's a bit expensive isn't it. Can anybody tell me if that's each way or does it include a return crossing? http://www.vancouversun.com/Golden+E...318/story.html |

Cheaper if you get a transponder, it is actually worth it even at that price, due to the horrendous round trip at present. |
Re: Golden Ears Bridge
I do not think the OP is telling a complete story. With a transponder leased for $1 per month it's $2.85 per crossing which may well be made up by the savings in time, gas and auto wear.
Humber Bridge GBP 2.70 and Severn Bridge GBP 5.40 ($5.08 and $10.34 respectively). |

Shame they're dumping the Albion Ferry though. I'm over there in just over a week so it'll be interesting to have a nosey at it. Heck, i'll even get to sample it in the 30 day free period :D |
