Going Kamping - where in NS have you settled? We're hoping to get out there in the next year or two (we're nearing the end of the application process, fingers crossed!) and are planning to live in Kings County....

Is that what the blog says?

I realise that blogs typically dont have any real info in them, but their new location may have come up in passing...

I only skimmed through the blog. Guessing on location due to a hospital they had to visit and by the pictures. Could be wrong.

Deduced that they purchased the campsite as most people (well the ones i know), tend not to carry out maintenance work around the campsite they are visiting.

You cynic! They could have been innocent lovers of exhaust fumes.

Alas, there in the blog it says:

"(For all of you who are going to say I've spelled "Kamping" wrong it's because we will be working for a KOA camp site and with the KOA you are happy Kampers!)"

So, no more getting away from it all to pristine parks. Instead, Butlitz on wheels.

I can't moan. my last vehicle in the UK was a 1978 VW camper. Whole forests would wither and die as i drove past. Also top speed up a slight incline was around 50mph. I once got a fist waved at me by the driver of an ice cream van, as he flew past.

never learn't my lesson from my previous van which blew up on me on the M27.

You could buy a value kard which allows you vip access to summat.
If not a kamping kompass will show you all the local sites.

I did fix an RV once. It was by the side of the road near Ouray. The brakes had seized. The design and power of the brakes matched that of those on the 1965 Ford Cortina so it was a nostalgic experience for me to take them apart, blow that asbestos dust out of the mechanism, and put them back together again. The driver gave me a can of Pride which I thought slightly odd for a mountain top in America.

Later it crossed my mind that if I had umpteen children in a bus with a boat on top all stopped by such brakes I'd meander along as well. Not sensible. Not at all.

Anyway, is me kard good for some naughty postcards and a Kiss Me Quick hat?

Once you earned 20,000 points you get a free vip upgrade. I would imagine this is where you receive your complimentary kiss me quick hat and donkey ride.

My, it's been years, probably two years, since I've been involved with donkey kissing.
