never see that anymore here, very odd, plenty of nice steaming fresh stuff though to keep you going. We've experienced similar and also kids telling off other children for swearing ! like the sound of that, manners, hmm vaguley remembered in some parts of the UK, espcially my house where i am considered strict for ensuring my daughter says please and thank you. go figure. Also its a generalism but a lot of posters here have been critical of the educational system here. Our kids are due to start Kinder in September. We couldnt tell you when as any request for info at school has been met with "We'll post you" etc type responses. The complete opposite behaviour as was experienced when my daughter started nursery / primary in England. |

The knock on effect of this is that class sizes are rapidly increasing. I reckon they'll be at least 30 kids in each my my kids Kinder classes. You're also getting a huge number of mother tongue languages being spoken which again i dont believe to be ideal. |
