Trouble was/is there are no study guides or books unless you are enrolled at a college. Round here thats full time study. There are jobs, we just cant get at them. You may have better luck. |
Re: Gas industry
Good evening: The certification process depends on where you want to work as a gas fitter in Canada and whether you already hold plumbing qualifications (C&G, NVQ). For info on the process in BC http://www.itabc.ca/TrainingPrograms...eProfileID=184
Alberta http://www.tradesecrets.gov.ab.ca/in...cupations.html Ontario (plumbing) http://www.citizenship.gov.on.ca/eng...plumbers.shtml Job market for plumbers/heating engineers is excellent in Western Canada (Vancouver and Calgary) On our last reccie, we met up with an ex-CORGI ... he said the domestic gas industry is a different kettle of fish (as you would expect) Best advice is to call the relevant agencies in each province for the lowdown (contact details in links ...just keep in mind the time difference;)) HTH Canucklehead |
