Forklift certification
Hi everyone!does anyone know if a uk forklift certificate recognised by the Canadian employer?thanks

Not a UK cert, but its only a 2 day course, so no big deal... do it over here...

Each province may be different. In Saskatchewan you have to have 8 hours of instructed driving time in order for certification.

I did my Canadian FLT course a few months ago. The classroom work was virtually identical to any counterbalance course I did in the UK although the practical was a lot easier than the UK.
As mentioned by previous posters, your experience may be recognised although your qualifications won't be. |

our course took around 6 hours and involved the use of electric pallet jacks aswell
i've never driven a forklift before and found it really easy :) |

Usually needs to be done at place of employment in Ontario...I have 2 lads booked on a course this Thursday.....
